Hellooooooo peeps!!!! I'm the happiest person today.. and I really mean it!! There are so many small yet interesting events that has happened to me today that made me feel .. hey .. today I'm pretty lucky!! and I love that feeling.. I hope this will last and I get to be lucky everyday *Fingers crossed*!! :-P

Oh wait. wait... before I begin.. I would like to remind you that you may find these rather normal and may not be extremely exciting... but hey.. I like to enjoy my lil' moments in life and face it.. I ain't exactly Denzel Washington in Unstoppable or something..

I'm a product specialist by profession.. how interesting do you want my life to get?

So.. ok.. enough of mindless justification.. Let's begin with

Lucky event numero uno!!! :-P : The unexpected escalation of sales

I woke up in the morning to check my company e mails.. I'm usually not very alert about my sales ... I just do my job and hope everything runs its course.. which is OBVIOUSLY not the way to do it.. I really need to take more time to understand those sales reports.. anyway.. I digressed.. My superior sent me a congratulatory e mail stating that one of my accounts that was lying dormant for some time was giving us quite a number or purchase orders... and you know what? It happened ONE DAY after my sales visit in Johore!! Note.. Because I'm new with the company (Exactly 2 months and 29 days ) I really need to make a good impression and make sure I get that confirmation of employment. :-P *praying hard*.. will ask my superior about the confirmation tomorrow.. (exactly 3 months)...

So what I can translate is that.. I went and see them... and GOD knows what I did right.. they purchase over RM20000 of products in the course of three days...

Lucky event #2 : Beat the parking nightmare~~!

Ok... I had to go to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre to obtain/borrow some goods they have that are still not in use. Due to some shortage of goods in another medical centre (yea.. it actually happens.. All hail Becton Dickinson!! our sales is good :-P)

So in the east tower (Menara Timur).. I will usually need to take say.. AT LEAST half an hour to find the parking space.. trust me.. when it comes to this hospital.. parking is no joke.. if you can find a square meter of space.. u have to chuck your car in there.. and usually.. I don't get no proper spaces.. I have to release my hand break and let others play puzzle with my car.. they usually push it to the other corner of the earth and I have to go look for it.. and for safety reasons.. I usually place my name card on the wiper against my windshield.. so.. u get the picture.. It's a total nightmare there.. and to top it off.. my superior wants me to schedule a meeting urgently with a professor in the hospital.. and me being all confident.. I told her I'll give her the answer 20 minutes TOPS.. lolz.. so yea.. I was kinda all worried and messed up.. but u know what??? in less than 10 seconds.. a car left a wide open parking space right in front of my eyes... lolz.. and I had this wonderful space at the GROUND FLOOR, right next to the elevator.. let me tell you what happens usually.. I usually have to park at the basement.. walk up 3 flights of stairs then reach the ground floor where the elevator is.. so.. nothing of that sort happened today and YIPPEE!!!

Lucky event #3: Meeting the professor, beating record time!

And I was there about 12 plus.. So I went to the infection control department to look for the professor.. When I asked the nurses .. They told me 99% that he was probably having lunch.. and I was like dang!! I was running out of time.. Me and my stupid mouth.. Telling my boss that I'll give her the answer in 20 minutes.. but I tried anyway.. and VOILA!! when I got to his room.. he was sitting there.. :-P and in less that 2 minutes.. I managed to set the appointment.. haha.. so I gave my boss a good answer.. and I did it in record time.. LOLZ.. Feeling the lucky yet?

Lucky event #4: Stock requisition with Mr.... ugh... WhO???

Ok.. this may sound a bit crappy on my side but it is true... Went I was about one and a half months old with the company.. there was a shortage of a particular product in Universiti Malaya Medical Centre due to the elevation of the number of patients.. So I had to borrow the stock from another medical centre.. and now.. the other medical centre is on shortage and I had to return them back...So.. when I was there.. the person that I handed the stock to about a month and a half ago was not there.. and I was like dang!! I needed to do that urgently.. face it.. patients don't wait.. and they can't wait either.. somehow.. I walked pass the store room and I decided to try my luck.. the moment I walked in.. this dude which I don't remember seeing my entire life said.. "you're the girl from BD eh??".. here.. there are your products so you can return to the other hospital.. I was like.. damn... I haven't really explained anything yet... but.. ughh... OKAYYY!! lolz... so i took them, thank him and left.. don't know how it happened.. it just did.. and I was like woahhh!! I'm on a roll!!

Lucky event #5: So you went for lunch?

Ok.. so I headed to the other medical centre to return the goods and the laboratory manager was not around... at first ;-) .. It was 1 plus.. Lunch hour.. AGAIN...

Before I could finish asking the receptionist where she was, she walked in.. and I gave her the products.. everything was completed in less than 10 minutes... So... I did everything super quick.. NO WAITING at all.. It was as if everything was in perfect timing.. all lined up for me..

Lucky event #6: And you said it is impossible to park exactly where you want in Uptown in the middle of the afternoon?

I had to pay my car loan.. total nightmare to my pocket.. but oh... for my little blue car? .. well.. a girl gotta do what she has gotta do.. :-P

So..just like Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.. Uptown is a commercial square whereby parking can sometimes be beyong nightmare.. double parking.. triple parking.. QUADRUPLE parking.. u name it.. I've seen it.. So I had to go pay my car loan.. and I told myself.. how great it would be to park right in front of the bank.. Before I finished murmuring to myself.. a car left a space RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BANK!! did you get chills?? lolz.. and you know what.. usually banks, in the middle of the afternoon, around lunch hour... would be analogous to a terrible horror movie.. you've just gotta to wait .. wait and wait.. for the MOMENT.. and nothing freaking happens.. but today.. oh no.. nothing of that sort.. the moment I pressed for my queue ticket... I walked up the stairs.. VOILA!! My turn!! I was like.. OMG.. what the hell is going on?? HAAHAHHAHA...

Lucky event #7: Nice chinese uncle??

Ok.. my mom was kinda screaming on the phone because I forgot to pay a bunch of bills at the post office..her phone got barred XD... So I had to rush to the post office.. and when I was there.. It was like a freaking cinema.... all the seats were filled...and there were mountains of people in there... I won't blame them.. it's the holiday eve.. and we being Malaysians.. last minute is the key.. :-P... if they're going to cut our utilities tomorrow.. we pay today ... lolz

So.. I was like... ugh.. ok... end of lucky streak.. I pressed the queue ticket and I was like OH MY GOD.. I had like... say.. 29 people before me????

I was like.. damn... I have to drop my work and I'm stuck at the post office waiting for 29 people to finish paying their bills..

And out of the blue.. this Chinese uncle popped out of NO WHERE and gave me this ticket... exactly 15 people ahead!! He cut my waiting time in HALF!!! I WAS LIKE.. THIS CANNOT BE FREAKING HAPPENING!!

lolz.. I AM SOOOOO lucky!!

Ok.. this concludes my post on the 7 lucky events of the day!!

I really hope this lucky streak thing continues.. But this is kinda freaky isn't it?
